Attending

The workshop will be held in conjunction with ISMAR 2022. We plan to offer the workshop in an ONLINE-only format. To join the workshop, attendees must be registered for the ISMAR conference. The link to attend the workshop will be available through the ISMAR program.

Paper Sessions / Author Instructions

In the workshop, we will have seven paper presentations. These are organized in two sessions. In the first session, we will have three paper presentations (starting at 4:30 PM SGT), and in the second session, we will have four paper presentations (starting at 7:40 PM SGT). Each paper presentation will last between 9 to 10 minutes. Presenters are asked to prepare a slideset to present their work (via screen sharing). During each session, we will have one pooled moderated discussion round at the end that will last approximately 10 minutes.

Demo Session

We will offer a demo session during the workshop where attendees can try out cross-reality prototyping tools. Therefore, it is highly recommended to have an Oculus Quest 1 or Quest 2 headset available during the online workshop. Alternatively, we will show and discuss videos of prototyping tools in a breakout session for attendees that do not have access to such a headset.

Brainstorming Session

We will have an open discussion session in which we want to brainstorm on future research directions of cross-reality prototyping. Here, we will use the Miro whiteboard tool. Therefore, we highly recommend setting up an account before the workshop to avoid delays and offer a smooth experience.
